ADR tanker driver — liquid dangerous goods

Full time · CZ + EU · international

Transport of flammable liquids, corrosives and other liquid dangerous goods in ADR tankers across Europe.

Position details

Responsibilities

  • International transport of liquid chemical substances under ADR
  • Regular runs Czech Republic ↔ EU
  • Communication with dispatch
  • Maintaining documentation (CMR, ADR instructions)

Requirements

  • Driving licence category C+E
  • Valid ADR certificate (basic + tanks + classes 3, 5, 6, 8)

Finding new B2B customers in the chemicals, construction materials and cement sectors across the European Union.

Responsibilities

  • Independent acquisition of new B2B customers (cement plants, chemicals, builders merchants)
  • Trade fair attendance

What candidates ask most often

I don't have an ADR certificate — can I apply?

Yes. For the bulk transport driver position you just need a C+E licence and a professional driver card. An ADR certificate is required for the ADR position, but for a suitable candidate we're happy to help fund the course and onboarding within 2–3 months.

Will I be home for weekends?

On domestic routes in the Czech Republic and to neighbouring countries, weekends home are standard. Long-haul routes to Benelux and Scandinavia mean 1–2 weeks on the road with returns between loads. We fine-tune preferences individually with the dispatcher.

How do the trial day and hiring process work?

After you send your CV we'll contact you within 8 business hours. Next comes a personal or video interview with the dispatcher, document checks (licence, ADR, psych tests) and a trial day in the cab with an experienced colleague. Successful candidates receive an offer.

What is the salary and how is it structured?

A fixed tariff by position plus a performance component, meal allowances and per-diems by law. Wages are above average in the region and grow with experience and ADR specialisation. We tailor the specific offer during the interview.

Who will train me?

For the first days you'll ride as a second driver with a colleague who has been with us 15 or even 25+ years. You'll learn the routes, customer sites, pneumatic unloading and paperwork (CMR, ADR docs). Dispatch is available 24/7.

How are holidays and sick leave handled?

Statutory 4+ weeks of holiday planned in advance according to operations and your preferences. Sick leave and other social benefits are standard by law. For long-term colleagues we try to accommodate individual requests too.
